By using Empace ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Empace Is

Empace is an AI-powered running coach that connects to your Strava account to provide personalized training insights and coaching through a chat interface.

2. Account

You sign in using your Strava account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Strava credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use Empace.

3. AI Coaching Disclaimer

Empace provides AI-generated coaching advice for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting or modifying a training program. You use the coaching advice at your own risk.

4. Strava Integration

Empace accesses your Strava data with your permission. You can revoke this access at any time through your Strava settings. We comply with the Strava API Agreement.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the app's operation
• Share your account access with others

6. Availability

We aim to keep Empace available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Empace app, its design, logo, and content are owned by us. Your activity data remains yours. AI-generated coaching responses are provided for your personal use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the use of AI coaching advice or the app.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app. You can also revoke access from Strava, which will deactivate your account on our end.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
